Shadow Puppies and LEMUR Guitarbots Monday, March 21 at 7pm Harvestworks New York City Shadow Puppies is Nick Didkovsky and Hans Tammen on guitars and laptops and Kurt Ralske on video. Didkovsky and Tammen stretch the boundaries of the electric guitar with an arsenal of objects, electronics, and homebrew computer software, while Ralske interactively captures and processes video using digital technology of his own design. The result is an uninterrupted journey through sonic eruptions, video hallucinations, and aggressive, entrancing mediascapes. This is the NYC premiere of Prometheus, a work for the LEMUR GuitarBots (four single-stringed MIDI-controlled slide guitar units) created at Rensselear Polytechnic Institute in Troy.
