Elise Kermani, Barbara Kilpatrick, Vicky Shick Repair Thursday - Sunday, March 17 - 20 Danspace Project at St. Mark's Church New York City Repair is a new collaborative piece by composer Elise Kermani, visual artist Barbara Kilpatrick and dancer / choreographer Vicky Shick. Sound, visual imagery and dance interweave closely from the outset in a continual dialogue. Two eight-foot curtains cast in fiberglass define the performance area. Kermani's custom-made electronic light sensors trigger melodies, found text and sounds that refer specifically to each persona on stage.
