Phobia Nova™ perform a live jam of digital video and electroacoustic music from Anatomy of Melancholy, a digital opera recently created by composer and media artist Joey Bargsten. Phobia Nova™ consists of Howard Wershil, John Cerreta, Scott Burland, and Joey Bargsten. They will be performing with a number of laptops running Kyma, Logic, Live, and various video manipulation software, in addition to live vocals, theremin, and percussion altered by real-time DSP. The audience is invited to bring their own headphones for a more intimate contact with the sound.
